National Yellow Pages Media Prepares For Industry Events

With our recent attendance at the Inside Self Storage Show in Vegas and now heading to the May 2010 Direct Response Expo in San Diego, dust hasn’t had a chance to settle on our tradeshow display. Representatives from NYPM will attend and exhibit at the show and be on hand for various panel discussions, networking opportunities and case study assessments. Prior to the Direct Response Expo, however, the Yellow Pages Association (YPA) will hold its annual conference April 17-20 at the Paris Hotel/Las Vegas.

The YPA conference will bring together directory publishers, CMRs, national advertisers, and other industry associates. Two representatives from our agency are headed to the conference and are booked solid with various publisher meetings, breakaway sessions and catching up with friends and associates.

This year’s event with a “Transformers” theme will provide a different venue than in years past. Not only will many meetings be held pool side, but this is the first conference whereby The Association of Directory Marketing now the National Marketing Division within YPA will meet as one collective group. This conference will roll out the new SES/Strategic Exchange Sessions in order to afford additional networking opportunities for attendees. Various panel discussions and presenters including representatives from BIA/Kelsey, Burke Market Research, CRM Associates, YPA President and others will address the group.

So, after the break out sessions, networking and presentations conclude, the event will end with a Gala dinner including entertainment by the Beach Boys. The 2010 YPA conference is sure to be informative and a huge success!
