Surfs Up!

Here I am again having some lunch and scanning my emails. I really wanted to sit outside for a few minutes and get some air, but today it’s just not happening. Here’s an article I came across highlighting a Nielsen study that shows how US consumers surf Social Networking sites.

You know, it’s funny, because some people you talk with are all over the place with their social networking efforts while you might mention Foursquare, or Ning to some and they say, “what”??  I have to admit that I’m still learning about some unfamiliar sites as well, but I think you’d agree that Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook are all household words.  I suppose it’s all about balance.

It’s really easy to be swept away by engaging in all these sites, but quite frankly, I just don’t have that kind of time.  I dabble a little here and there.  This week I posted my first “tweet” through our agency account and I’m not sure, just yet, if I’ll expand to open a personal profile or not.   We’ll just have to wait and see.

What about you?  How are you connecting with folks through Social Networks?  Which ones do you use or prefer and why?
Chris, here in the office, hooked me up with a Poll to tabulate results. Thanks Chris!

We’d like to hear from you.
