So I got up this morning to get my day going with a quick walk on the treadmill and realized I’d misplaced my iPod. I’m sure it’s in my briefcase or one of my purses, so I haven’t lost it, which is a good thing.
If I have to get out of bed to get on the treadmill and forego a half hour of sleep (I love to sleep), there’d better be some really good music somewhere! Here’s where Pandora mobile saved the day for me. I’d already selected a few types of music and had them set up via the Blackberry Pandora app, so I just grabbed my earphones and off I went. The upbeat, fast pace tempo really got me going this morning. I followed that with some water to re-hydrate and then a good cup of joe. What a great morning!
I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, whether using Pandora on your computer or mobile, that it provides a great opportunity to get the word out about your business. When I log in, the banner ads I’ve seen have been local businesses near the suburb where I live in, so the geo-targeting capability is really cool. I think that’s what advertisers have to think about when putting media plans together is that they have to be where people are to connect with them and target the right audience.
If you have any questions about how to promote your business presence on Pandora, don’t hesitate to let me know. In the meantime, I really need to find my iPod to transfer the new music I just got.
