Linkmedia 360’s Managing Partner, Dave Wolf is writing today’s blog post:
According to a recent emarketer study , seven out of ten online banking customers want to be able to execute any type of transaction online. And with the number of mobile users growing worldwide, it is import to focus on the accuracy of online listings. Mobile online bank listings for branches and ATMs represent a huge opportunity for retail banks to generate incremental fee revenue. Optimizing local listings on Google, Yahoo and Bing represent a great opportunity to connect with customers who are searching on their mobile devices.
The best way to ensure that customers find your mobile listings is to ensure that they are claimed and updated on Google, Yahoo and Bing. Filling out as much detail as possible, including the specific types of financial services at each one of your branch locations, will enhance your mobile and online visibility for local search (i.e., checking accounts, business banking, ATM, etc.). To fully optimize the listings, it helps to attach photos of each of the branches, ATM information, branch hours of operations and all contact information. Also, make sure that you have the description of your business defined in the business profile fields which will make it more findable and indexed from an SEO perspective for local SEO searches (i.e., “ATM’s Long Beach, CA”). This will further promote your online presence and brand. I know that this is very tedious, but the long-term benefits will be tremendous.
