The Marketing Automation Manager will own the strategy and implementation of marking automation programs for Linkmedia 360’s clients. This includes, but is not limited to, the build out of email and SMS automation campaigns and triggered email journeys, including on-site and social media elements. The Marketing Automation Manager will also support new client acquisition offerings through evaluations, audits, trainings and recommendations. Knowledge, understanding and adherence to best practices and our industry verticals changes/updates are essential.

    • Strategy & Execution
        • Translate client business needs, sales and marketing processes, and persona journeys into marketing automation programs tied to goals/KPIs
        • Build, test and deploy emails, landing pages, forms, pop-ups, campaign lists/segmentation, lead scoring methodology and automation logic within marketing automation platforms
        • Conduct virtual and/or in-person client trainings
        • Write compelling subject lines, pre-headers and email copy
        • Support Integrations team with CRM / website integration with marketing automation platforms
        • Test/QA all emails and landing pages before launch for accuracy, tracking and readability across devices and email service providers
        • Regularly review program performance both by client and across the agency to identify opportunities for improvement. Incorporate these opportunities into iterative improvements to goals, KPIs and ROI
    • Client Delivery
      • Support Account Managers with new client setup, onboarding and program expectations
      • Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, development, and execution of marketing automation programs
      • Manage project timelines, ensuring that all activities occur as planned and that campaigns are executed on time, from scheduling to design, production and distribution
      • Identify and prioritize new opportunities to leverage automation to meet business goals
    • Agency Growth
      • Create and maintain documentation and reporting of marketing automation processes, programs, platform usage and procedures
      • Create benchmarks and track performance across email metrics
      • Stay up-to-date on email best practices and emerging trends; share with agency and clients
      • Assist sales and account management with case studies, strategies and marketing automation proposals prior to SOW creation
    • Team Development
      • Guide and train relevant agency resources on marketing automation and CRM marketing tactics and strategies
      • Rally team with positive and optimistic attitude; create a supportive environment for growth
      • Responsible for direct report 1:1s, annual performance reviews, constructive team feedback
      • Reinforce agency and vertical goals and internal SMART goals with team

Role Requirements:

      • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, 3+ years working directly with email marketing, marketing automation and CRM databases
      • Basic HTML – ability to edit source code
      • Prior agency experience highly preferred
      • Bachelor’s degree preferred
      • Assertiveness, bias for action and commitment to execution
      • Entrepreneurial vision and success growing a business and/or product line
      • Positive attitude and willingness to grow and embrace change in a fast-paced agency environment
      • Outstanding leadership qualities demonstrated by excellent communication, presentation skills and enthusiasm to overcome difficult initiatives
      • Strong attention to detail and proven accountability in professional career
