The Paid Media Specialist is responsible for executing upon our digital paid media strategy for client partners to help achieve their business objectives. The Specialist must have an ability to keep up with the latest paid search and advertising techniques, as they will be a trusted resource for our client service and delivery team. This role requires focus to execute upon high-performance digital marketing tactics using paid search, social and programmatic advertising platforms. The Specialist will effectively utilize our set of tools and communicate frequent campaign progress to their team members. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and having the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are both attributes for success in this role.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily/Weekly Account/Campaign Management
    • Paid keyword research & builds – manage and maintain updates for large keyword lists
    • Ad copy development, testing, and analysis
    • Audience targeting
    • Bid management
    • Search query report maintenance and analysis
    • Budget/spend pacing
  • Account and Campaign Creation
    • Support the creation of new paid search campaigns, ad groups, and accounts
    • Aid in the roll out of new paid search marketing initiatives
    • Campaign builds, restructuring, and expansion
  • Analysis & Optimization
    • Dayparting, dimensions, and location targeting analysis/optimization
    • Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments
    • Landing page review and ongoing conversion optimization with our UX/design team
    • Support new business efforts as requested by assisting with audits, proposals, research, and data collection

Key Performance Indicators & Measures of Success:

  • Managed client ad spend and client chargeability
  • Consistent delivery of high quality work that impacts client results, relationships and retention
  • Meeting deadlines assigned by Strategists and Account Leads
  • Contributions to team knowledgebase, case studies and paid media process improvements

Role Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, public relations or a related field
  • Agency experience a plus – experience in SEM/PPC
  • Microsoft Office / Excel
  • Strong Google Ads editor skills
  • Experience working within Google Ad/Bing (certifications a plus)
  • Google Analytics proficiency
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Good marketing instincts
  • Excellent organization, time management, and project management skills
  • Self-starter mentality
