COSE 2010 Small Business Conference A Success!!

Dave Wolf, JK Smith and myself recently represented Linkmedia 360 at the 2010 COSE Small Business Conference held at the Cleveland I-X Center, October 20 and 21. Both days were packed with exceptional educational presentations (92 total breakout sessions) and great opportunities to network!

Our keynote speakers were so engaging and gave us their personal stories and strategies.

On day one, it was good to hear Bill Rancic’s story about being a self-made entrepreneur. You may recall Bill won Donald Trump’s, “The Apprentice” during its early days. To get to meet him and have my photo opportunity really iced the cake!!

Speaking of cakes, Warren Brown, Cleveland native and government attorney shared his story about how he totally “flipped the switch” and moved away from the legal arena into the world of baking. He became a phenomenal baked goods entrepreneur and Founder of CakeLove. Advertising branding expert, Sally Hogshead, got us pumped up with video clips sharing her thoughts on how to FASCINATE (Your 7 Triggers to Persuasion and Captivation) which is the title of her book and I can’t wait to read my new copy!!

Overall, it was a great two days and we’re looking forward to reconnecting with some of the area business professionals that we met. Way to go COSE for putting on such a great show!!
