Do you want the government to dictate whether or not you should receive Yellow Pages directories?

Business owners and consumers alike – here is your chance to voice your opinion on this controversial topic. Please take a moment to respond to the poll at the end of the brief article.

The bottom line is this…San Francisco has introduced legislation that would require consumers to opt-IN to receive the delivery of Yellow Pages directories.  Residents would have to give permission by either mail, phone, email or in person to receive the phone books.   Keep in mind the Yellow Pages Association has already created a consumer choice opt-out site for folks to control or cease the delivery of the Yellow Pages directories.

Do you agree with San Francisco’s approach or will this hurt small/medium-sized businesses?

Please vote.  Your opinion matters.
