“The Constant Evolution of Social Media” Webinar Recap

The Charlies Angels of Linkmedia 360

Social Media webinar presenters Renae Dabney, Patti Spirko & Debbie Lamb

Linkmedia 360 hosted its latest in a series of free informational webinars on Thursday, May 10, 2012 entitled “The Constant Evolution of Social Media”  Our very own Renae Dabney, Debbie Lamb and Patti Spirko were back as the presenters for this information packed webinar.  With Facebook’s IPO this week that will affect how we view our personal and brand pages and the explosion in popularity of Pinterest, the world of social media is constantly changing! From free brand pages to paid advertising; the way that businesses market themselves has to continue to change with the times.

Some key take-aways from the webinar are:

  1. Have you jumped into the social media space yet? What are you waiting for? Get out there and start building that community!
  2. Once you have become comfortable in your free Facebook or Twitter brand pages, you might be interested in taking it to the next step by purchasing paid advertising on these platforms.
  3. Social Media sites allow you to see who is liking, sharing and following you. Use this data to help you determine your ROI.
  4. Don’t just put up social media pages and leave them there! Social media should be an ongoing effort. Participate and communicate with your fans and followers!

Thanks again to Renae, Patti and Debbie for this very informative webinar! Out next webinar will be held in July with Stefan Muirhead on the topic of how important video content is for your website and social media presence.  Keep an eye out on our blog, Facebook, Google+ and Twitter pages for more information!
