What is Your Online Reputation?
According to a Google/Ipsos 2011 study, by 2013 mobile internet usage will surpass desktop internet usage. Over 55% of the people who own mobile phones have smartphones with internet access. Consumers are searching for local businesses via their smartphones. These consumers are in more immediate need of services than those that are searching via desktop. Having the smartphone makes it much quicker and easier to find information right when you need it. After the search on the mobile phone, 70% of consumers make a transaction within an hour.
Is your business listing showing the correct information on Google, Yelp, Yahoo, Bing, yp.com or superpages.com? If your business listing isn’t complete or showing the wrong phone number or address, you could be losing business. It is important to monitor your online listings and what people are saying about you online. Reputation Management involves managing your online listings, your reviews and your social mentions. It lets you know what people are saying about you across the internet.
